The nature of the HP DeskJet 2320 printer model is such that it can serve multiple purposes. The primary purposes include printing, copying, and scanning at exceptional work rates. Also, the HP DeskJet 2320 supports manual duplex printing through an internally built driver. This same driver is instrumental in its compatibility with various versions of Windows OS and macOS. At the same time, the driver allows the machine to work with different print languages, such as the HP PCL 3 GUI.
Concerning paper handling, the standard capacity of the input tray is about 20 index cards and 60 sheets of input paper. It can take five envelopes and 25 sheets in its output tray to balance things out. Physically, the sides of the machine include a height of 149.1 mm, a depth of 304.1 mm, and a width of 425.2 mm. The net weight is about 3.42 kg, which is ideal for the portable size of the printer. Download HP DeskJet 2320 All-in-One Printer driver from HP website
Note: HP Drivers for Mac have become a little more difficult to access. HP wants you to use HP Easy Start to set up your printer but often on the VT network the Easy Start app is unable to locate the printer which makes it so it can't download the driver. Techstaff recommends downloading the HP Easy Admin tool found at [HP Support].
HP released an Easy Start tool in Nov 2020 for this printer that it claims is compatible with macOS 11.2. I would download that and install it, and see if it can find the appropriate printer driver from HP.
HPIJS is HP's universal printer driver for most of their non-PostScript printers. It comes as a part of HPLIP, HP Linux Imaging and Printing. The supplied PPDs are provided by OpenPrinting.org and include PPDs for printers made by HP and printers made by other manufacturers. HP does not provide support for any non-HP printer.
